Pros

A company with great culture! Respect for employees! Flat structure! Un-bossed culture! Support for employees! It gives you new challenge every day, you learn, develop and grow out of it. However, due to these challenges there can be stressful situations, but at the same time, Novartis holds your hand and let you know we are right behind you, we will hold you at the right time. This company care for 3 stake holders the most, first and foremost are patients! secondly employees and thirdly Share holders! If you are associated with this organization then you are working with one of the best organizations that you can ever witness. Lastly, Choice with responsibility, preliminary understanding is that desk job employees can chose to work from anywhere in the country of employment. If that happens it will be just great and this will reflect how much this organization trust their employees.

Cons

Due to its wonderful policies and great organization to work with you might not like any other organization afterwards!

Pros

Good pay especially on holidays, plenty of overtime opportunities. At least among same level co-workers there's a good environment.

Cons

Management is a mess for the most part, many managers across multiple departments don't have little if any familiarity of daily operations or processes, they will definitely judge your performance on this though, management will emphasize basic micromanagement things like scheduling and idle work but largely ignore operation issues or product quality concerns. Very poor communication as well, I have a medical condition that factored into my termination, I was given one warning on tardiness, gave an explanation to the issue and assured it wasn't a problem then fired without warning and cut off from all contact

Pros

Global Organisation. Leader in Pharma

Cons

Toxic, backstabbing, blame culture. Constant reorganisations and no clear strategy especially regarding IT. Future for Dublin uncertain. Continue to hire in people even though it’s known that reorg is pending and team, manager or often the role itself may be subject to change, removal or move to another location. Most jobs involve extraordinary levels of admin and deskilling in IT is an inevitability if you spend too long here.
