-no one takes responsibility/ many play the blame game and will track mistakes made by other groups -lots of push back from other departments that make my bosses not want to deal with it, so many things fall onto my group -research scientist II position feels more like a tech position - do not feel like I was hired into the correct position -3% raises when inflation has been ~7% for the past few years, they try to justify it as "this is what you would get if you went to another company because there is a committee that discusses salaries" -commute is way too long and commuter benefits don't completely cover the time and money you are spending
