Pros

Most employees are nice and friendly. Facilities are new and clean. Lunch is great.

Cons

The “red tape” is overwhelming and a bit suffocating. No decisions can be made even by management without getting approval from another group of leaders which means it takes forever to make any changes….and that’s if they will make any. They do not appreciate independent thinkers who approach problem solving with creativity. HR is horrendous and nearly impossible to access. To many chiefs.

Pros

There are some wonderful people that work here Benefits for full time employees are okay Some leaders are great

Cons

Bad policies and practices if you are LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, etc. patient or employee No benefits for domestic partners If your spouse has any health insurance they can't join yours Healthcare benefits don't kick in until 1-2 months after you are hired No non-discrimination policy No employee resources groups Have to use PTO hours for Holidays Generally not enough is done to prevent burnout and turnover Upper management does not include the workforce in DEI with what little DEI activities exist Terrible/antiquated work from home policies (unless you are a physician or upper management) Not enough diversity or DEI awareness/skills in upper management and among physicians No serious or institutional efforts to address health inequity, workforce inclusion, and welcoming and affirming oppressed patient groups (i.e. trans/gnc patients, LGBQ patients, BIPOC patients) Unaware and quite oblivious to healthcare needs of LGBTQ people and health inequities across race, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc. No meaningful education or space for providers and staff to learn about and deepen our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Tons of turn over and burnout amongst direct care providers A lot of saying the right thing and doing another as it pertains to company values/service standards
