Pros

I just want to share that Northside falsifys these reviews by having employees fill out positive reviews in front of an administrator and when you press submit you get a free tee shirt.

Cons

Look at the reviews for Northside Hospital on google reviews compared to this site. Both Gwinnett and Atlanta (two of the largest campuses ) have a lot of ongoing management and interdepartmental issues.

Pros

Excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment

Cons

Most management no longer cares about the employees. There is blatant favoritism and incessant little remarks meant to make you feel small. Raises can be influenced by heresy and rumors.

Pros

My particular unit has some great staff. We work as a team. The manager of my unit is very kind and always an open ear. Long residency for new grads.

Cons

- Still work with Computers on Wheels. - Have to use answering service to get in touch with most doctors (have someone else leave them a message). - EMR software is a joke. - Big surprise: we’re understaffed. - Nurse patient ratio not always safe. - Second surprise: we’re underpaid. - Benefits changed this year and are not as good. - No way to see/track exact clock in/out times (So no way to see if payroll properly added in some education time or corrected a missed punch, etc. That’s shady.) - Nursing charting expectations keep increasing, but especially with our EMR, they are ridiculous. - Sick days use PTO hours. - No incentive for speaking more than one language. - The cafeteria food is the absolute worst, and can be expensive.
