      Pros

      * team environment promotes good morale * recent increase in base pay to be on par with other hospitals * recent advancement opportunities with Next program

      Cons

      * offer no maternity/paternity leave. Employees have to take their own PTO for two weeks and then short term disability which only pays half of base pay for 4 weeks. For the premiere baby hospital of the southeast and the top 20 employers of the US (according to Forbes), they severely lack in this area. They really should consider offering some maternity paid time off. * McKesson charting system is very counter intuitive and promotes double charting.

      It's a job and pays the bills. You will learn about conflict management and how to deal with high stress conditions.

      Cons

      Management seriously micro-manages. Work /Life balance is a joke Coworkers will smile in your face while throwing you under the bus

      Schedules, Salary, 403B, Direct Deposit, Credit Union

      Cons

      Business Office needs a face lift, chairs are old forget back support. Cubicles are so tiny you can not move your seat around, oh and every time you look up be prepared to look right in the face of your coworker as you're surrounded by glass. Phones are so old I didn't think people still use these. Be prepared to work, if you don't want carpel tunnel from all the billing stay away, serious work ergonomics going on. A little investment wouldn't hurt, they have it.
