Pros

No pros unless you like no life

Cons

Very demanding the management staff is very disrespectful they do not care about the safety of the employee or having a work/life balance. Not flexible at all when it comes to time. Thinks everyone wants to be at work at 5a every day not willing to budge to have later start times or shifts of 9a or 10a. Thinks it is funny when some of the staff got stuck overnight on the hwy during the last ice storm. Instead of ensuring the staff left in time to make it home they force employee's to stay to get bills out the door. Northside isn't very good with self-pay patients either. They don't want uninsured patients at their facilities, so stay away if you don't have money to pay. Northside doesn't pay fair either, they will hire someone off the streets paying more money to them instead of paying their current workers on the same scale. The business office has a very high turn over and is very stressful due to the demands and the show of disrespect by management.

Pros

Pension and benefits are decent if you use a NSH facility.

Cons

They have policies set in place for reporting sexual harassment but confusing, also be prepared for retaliation. This use to be a great place to work until the business office got involved.

Pros

I would not know since Northside rescinded the offer letter without explanation.

Cons

I was offered a position by HR. I was that an offer letter would arrive in two days by the Senior HR person. A week later, the same HR person said, "After reviewing the compensation package, Northside has decided to rescind our offer and open the position to other candidates". How do you offer a senior management position to someone before having the compensation package completed? During my initial phone screen, my desired salary was agreed upon with HR as being within the ballpark of the position.
