Pros

Very, open global and intercultural company, where it is possible, even recommendable, to take international assignments in order to move ahead in career. Nokia provides and supports good learning opportunities and carries responsibility about environment but also employees during lay-offs.

Cons

Currently facing challenges and tough competition which is making the work stressful sometimes. It might be difficult to move ahead in career without pulling the strings. It is difficult to get rid of the friend-hiring in the large organization.

Strong positioning in the industry (currently number 2). Ahead of the curve in Telecom R&D. Good work-life balance. Good compensation and benefits package.

Cons

Employee morale is low due to periodic layoffs. Decision making by management is slow and the management structure is complex.
