Pros

The job is fulfilling. The team are terrific and the vast majority of colleagues are very committed to a common goal of good patient care and supporting the organisation.

Cons

The organisation is of neccessity politically responsive and this can take precedence of the needs of patients and the wellbeing of staff. The organisation demonstrates little memory for contributions over and above the norm but is rigid and at times draconian regarding HR issues. This often results in disillusionment and anxiety regarding thinking outside the box and innovation
