Pros

A great camaraderie. A feeling of working together. Hard work but times flies. Good to know you are helping people

Cons

Pay is not increasing in line with other industries. When I started I had enough to live on by the time I left 6 years later I was having to put my food shopping on a credit card. Constant interference by government

Pros

I work in a very good team, flexible work schedule, oppertunity for personal developement if you are inclined to progress yourself. Good work location in town, comfortable work environment.

Cons

NHS overall is under financial strain to keep a balanced budget and come up with cost saving solutions. This could have a future affect if a deficit occurs and bring about some uncertainity if extreme cost saving measures have to be put into place.
