Great place to meet people who are genuinely caring and compassionate, and can give a real sense of value to your job.

Cons

Staff cuts, lack of funding, riddled with problems as a result. Often you can find people who don't appreciate their jobs and are lazier than other institutions.

The people were nice to work with Head office facilities were good for Yorkshire Ambulance Service

Cons

Can be bureaucratic, a lot of things have red tape around them. The senior leadership team move onto another NHS role within 2 years a lot of the time, resulting in a constant state of flux Unions can make it difficult to make positive change happen, for the benefit of the whole organisation.
