Pros

Early career progression from junior level. Solid wide ranges of experiences. Excellent job security

Cons

Limited progress through the grades at Senior level. Clinicians do not necessarily make the transition successfully into management positions and this reflects on morale and staff retention. Stretched public sector budgets

Pros

Regular work in various departments so interesting and able to add to your skills base, flexible over working patterns and good staff relations. Rate of pay was good and pension scheme.

Cons

High pressure, high workload and for bank staff, no access to staff parking scheme so had to pay £3.90 a day parking or walk a good distance into work, not good in winter. Some hours are not regular either due to lack of work station places.
