Pros

Excellent colleagues who are thoughtful, hardworking and extremely motivated. Excellent team environment, striving for high standards. Diverse patient exposure and good opportunities to learn.

Cons

Poor rota co-ordination, frequent on-calls with variable working patterns, chronic staff shortages, some ward jobs can be an unfortunate mix of very admin heavy for 90% of the time, and feeling out of your depth for the remaining 10%

Pros

You develop great communication skills overtime, and become confident in approaching and dealing with people in a calm and efficient manner

Cons

It's very difficult to communicate properly with senior staff at time, and the pay was just not enough for the amount of work put on the role
