Pros

Job safety, satisfaction and support. Good and clear career progression with in house training available. Good access to resources such as HR occupational health. Pay is not reflective in commitment I put in. But at the same time quick career progression has compensated for that.

Cons

Career progression is slow unless you are willing to move hospitals. Salary is banding therefore no incentive that work hard get paid more.
