I worked with many extremely dedicated, hardworking, well-meaning and smart people during my years in the NHS

Unfortunately, the organisation is very political which can be demoralising at times

Often thankless. 80 hour weeks. Hourly pay is in the £8/hour bracket for first year doctors. Patients are at risk due to tired doctors.
