Pros

They pay their bank workers in time and even offer a pension scheme.

Cons

There is no possibility of promotion. You would have to leave your department and find a higher band position in another one. Also, the internal politics of band levels feels more like a politics of casta. People don't mingle with different levels and therefore you feel like living an episode of Downtown Abbey.

Pros

Working at NHS gives stability.

Cons

Working at NHS is not very challenging. No much meritocracy.
