Favorable for entry level software role.

Cons

Generic software development experience with .NET and C#. These are core to development experience at Microsoft.

Pros

It's only worth working here if you can get into a stable product group like Azure or SharePoint with no insane deadlines.

Cons

Certain orgs are all-in on AI (BIC, A365, etc.) and hard deadlines are set against external conferences (Build/Ignite) and they can't be moved. Don't expect projects to be planned appropriately. Be prepared to work 10-14 hour days and weekends or face being threatened with a PIP. Speed and urgency are the performance and promotion metrics, never mind quality, craft, depth, or what you bring to the culture. If you say you have kids and can't work like that, they will tell you it's an excuse. So much for D&I. Multiple senior engineers walked out the door with no job lined up due to mental health decline. I was lied to during the interview about work-life balance.
