Pros

they have regular clerical type openings even during this deep recession.

Cons

The work environment is cold and unnatural. In addition, there seemed to be a rift between the races that was not discouraged by management.

Pros

flexible, you get to build your own business within their system, really nice benefits package, lots of employee discount and supplier discounts

Cons

nitty gritty compliance is really annoying metlife doesn't pay for your study materials, pays hardly anything training is here and there, on and off, there's no comprehensive, systematic, structured training, you gotta figure things out yourself mostly company tries to save cost by cutting down management, you sometimes have limited or convenient reach to help

Pros

Great benefits, competitive compensation, flexible work arrangements, employees who actually DO the work (read: not upper management) are good people that do everything they can to hold the business together.

Cons

Technology is lacking, very conservative in most all decision making.
