      It has been a wonderful experience working at MetLife. I have learned quite a lot by working at the company.

      Pros

      If you don't know an answer to a question, my co-workers are always willing to help. We are a team whether we're all in one location or not.

      Cons

      There aren't many oppotunities for growth at my location. And I feel that it is based off of personal reasons. I have been there for years and I have seen a lot. However, some people do get promoted. Others have to go elsewhere outside of MetLife to find opportunities for advancement.

      Pros

      Work environment was great as there was a focus on teamwork, leadership modeled hard work and fairness, pay was competitve and there was work life balance.

      Cons

      Sold by Metlife so no longer an opportunity to grow or stay with Metlife. Corporate didn't care about this arm to make it work.

      Pros

      Constant encouragement for growth, good pay with increases based on merit, great benefits and employee perks. Facility was great, good technology, fantastic opportunity for self promotion

      Cons

      Management at times seemed to trip over each other, certain pet projects were pushed on employees when they clearly were not effective, typical large corporation red-tape.
