Even with the market success of the product itself, what makes Merge is 100% the people! They are some of the most hardworking yet fun group I have worked with that actually made me want to show up to the office everyday. I was genuinely impressed with the knowledge and decision-making ability of such young leadership, who still encouraged employees to drive forward their own projects. The founders and broader team were super supportive of my career growth, from letting me switch roles internally to helping me land my next opportunity after I decided to change career paths.
Cons
Working at an early-stage startup can be stressful when there are quick product changes and demanding customers. While most people on the team are passionate about what they do, it won't be the right fit if you are looking for the "laid back" big tech / later-stage startup culture.
