      Pros

      Best company I have ever worked for, bar none. Yes there are growth challenges as we become more integrated with Cisco, and yes sales is hard, but Meraki creates an environment for employees that is supportive and feels like home. I am proud of the product we sell, and am honored to be part of the Mid Market team that has developed immensely since its inception 3 years ago. Great benefits, company events, and opportunity for upward mobility either within the Meraki BU or to greater Cisco. Hard work pays off.

      Cons

      Quotas are becoming evermore challenging to achieve. A lot of the OG Merakians have seen us become more corporate (Cisco-like) as the start-up style culture is fading. Lower pay than other tech companies in the Bay Area. Politicking with Cisco can be frustrating if you are not good at hiding how you really feel in certain situations. Can feel a little 'bro' oriented.

      + Great people to work with. + Product is something that actually will bring value to your customers and this creates a positive vibe around the sales floor. +Management very supportive regarding career plans and help you along the way. + Compensation good and targets realistic. + Great perks, I especially enjoy the trip to US twice a year for SKO:s (and free lunch of course). + A part of Cisco, which also opens a lot of opportunities also regarding career planning. + Fun extra-curricular activities.

      - Office currently a bit cramped due to massive growth, but I think that will be solved soon

      Pros

      The senior leadership team actively looks for feedback on how to move the team in a direction that grows with the company and the individual contributors. As a parent, I have actively championed flexibility in the role, and although changes are small, its changes nonetheless. My leaders have always seen my potential and encouraged my growth within the organization. I love the people I work and my management team.

      Cons

      Location of Office. It's definitely a long commute if you don't want to live in San Francisco, most commutes outside the City are 1 hour+.
