      modern day slavery

      Pros

      Maxlinear has acquired many groups from different companies recently so you can expect tons of work but don't expect any help from other.

      Cons

      it is modern day slavery where engineers are treated like slave. be ready to work from 8AM to 11PM everyday including weekend. forget about family life. you will be under lots of pressure to deliver because management will be behind you all the time. Very average digital engineers but they think that they are best. Poor quality of work in India. Less salary and raise. I won't be surprised if they cut your salary. incapable Design and Verification lead. even few years experience guys will perform better than them. horrible india's office

      Thank you for giving feedback. While MaxLinear may not have been a good fit for you, we are actively hiring in India and work hard to select the best candidate for each position. Work hours may be shifted some to allow engineers to collaborate with other international teams, but we don’t expect employees to work 15 hour days. In the local area (Bangalore), our current staff is seen as being exceptionally talented. We wish you the best in your next position.

      Great place to work if you are not white or old

      Lots of interesting work, good pay and opportunity.

      Cons

      They seem to have gone on the age and race discrimination band wagon. If you are Asian and young you will fit in. Old white guys need not apply if you are young this might be the place for you

      Pros

      It is growing up company. It starts up with the cable consuming product and now is extending to giant range. People inside will experience various of projects, involving different techniques, costly equipment and new market.

      Cons

      The company is still small. The R&D cycle is always tight and the task is sometimes heavy. people inside needs to take over multi roles.
