      There are a some talented and committed Human Resource professionals.

      Cons

      The Human Resources function experienced a tremendous amount of change in 2021. The leadership team, attempted to "reimagine" how HR services were delivered to the organization and their approach was, disorganized, shortsighted and lacked vision. Many HR professionals were left reporting to inept leaders who were selected not based on their expertise rather their ability to agree with sr. leaders.

      Pros

      Large enterprise and diversified bussines clients. Many teams work remotely, and have global footprint. Good place to be employed as permemanent staff, and plan retirement.

      Cons

      - Career growth is almost non-existent - If in IT, then do not expected technology stack to be the latest in the market - Innovation and adpotion of better technology is slow - Success of IT projects are based on individual efforts - Decisions are trickled down from top to bottom, without proper engagement. - Heavy reliance on vendor - If you want to learn new stuff, this is not the place. Convulated processes, lack of enterprise practice, lack of engagement, etc will make one work extra hours to just get things done.
