Friendly work environment, but understaffed and not enough pay

Pros

The culture is great; full of friendly people, fun social events and very little gossip. Most of the managers, including mine, are wonderful and help make it a good place to work.

Cons

Unfortunately, the corporate office is always trying to cut our budget, which means no raises, and a too-small staff. Turnover is very high.

Insurance fundamentals, team work, benefits, interaction with numerous departments/functional areas. office politics--you'll learn how to avoid work! A training ground for the new graduate!

Cons

Lazy management who are much older and many who could not put together a PowerPoint slide or conduct a meeting.

Good Salary Great benefits Solid Leadership Positive and supportive work environment that is not unforgiving. Abundant opportunities to grow within the organization.

Cons

Due to cutbacks many business and tech areas are currently understaffed thus creating heavy workloads and inefficient workaround practices. No on-site nurse.
