      High pay for Louisville are; lots of opportunity within the organization

      Cons

      Management in the Louisville location operates likes a call center rather than professional atmosphere.

      Our teams in Louisville are critical to the sucess of many of our functional areas such as Finance and HR. In fact, their is a high degree of rigor in measuring and monitoring the work that is done there. We believe that is what a professional environment should be all about.

      Pros

      Lots of opportunities globally, diverse culture and strong management.

      Cons

      Fast paced environment with little work-life balance. Large corporate feel with lack in feeling a sense of reward & accomplishment. Benefits are below expectations as well, although compensation is okay.

      The comment about benefits is pretty surprising. We just completed our all-colleague annual global engagement survey and the value of the benefits we offer scored close to 80% favorable. What I've found is that many colleagues don't even know what is offered. Check out Colleague Connect...I hope you are pleasantly surprised.

      Temp Role at Marsh in Solicitors Professional Indemnity Team

      Pros

      Work culture at Marsh is very inclusive and I felt my line managers was easy to approach when I needed help with anything. Pay is a massive bonus at Marsh for this particular role compared to other companies. Work/life balance was fantastic. Work was quite social whilst I was there over the summer. Get to go out a number of afternoons drinking throughout the season.

      Cons

      Work was fairly boring and menial task based a lot of the time. Not very intellectually challenging, however it was the nature of the role, its just a step up into the industry
