      On the whole a decent place to work, but extremely political so not always a meritocracy.

      Pros

      Good big company benefits. Working hours are generally ok, flexible working is accommodated. Not the best paying company but not the worst either.

      Cons

      Very political, poor HR strategy, too many mid level managers with enough say to prevent / stifle change. Good people often let go in favour of "yes men" in an old boys club.

      I'm not sure how much experience you had before you joined us but being here less than 1 year tells me you have a whole lot to look forward to! If you want to develop new skills make sure you let your manager know. The best advice anyone ever gave me was not to wait for things to happen...you have to at least help make them happen.
