Low pay and commission is only 1%. Our store in Flushing, NY normally only had enough customers for 1/3 staff members to make their quota. We were a great team and all good with customers so sometimes we would take turns or help each other meet goals. If we all tried equally, no one would meet the quota.

Mostly Spanish employees who insist on conversing between each other in Spanish, making other people uncomfortable and feel excluded. We don't get paid double time or extra on any day, Black Friday, Boxing Day, New Years, Sunday's. They expect a high standard of work despite paying minimally. No incentive to complete sales. Staff entrance smells like urine. CCTV in the staff room doesn't work. You receive one item of uniform so if there's a tear you'll have to buy out of your paycheck. We get paid monthly. Weekly rota change makes it difficult to track shifts and little opportunities to share concerns.
