      Worst job of my life

      Pros

      Good office in Tallinn, local management tries to organise interesting events and kinda carry for the employees with some benefits. CEO tries to keep in touch with all the offices and share general business news with the teams.

      Cons

      The place was full of politics. There was no plan even for 1 week, urgent tasks would appear at random time and the rest of the time there was nothing to do. Management has no idea of what they want, would change the development direction completely every 2 months. Existing technical solutions are bad but the management pushes to make them even worse. The management is not technically qualified however they would push their technical ideas even if the engineers protest. HQ office is the one making all the decisions and if you are not there you don't even understand whats's going on. There was "no work from home" policy meaning you can only stay at home if you are sick or something similar happened (though this restriction was lifted during the covid epidemics). Tallinn management secretly keeps track of when people come and go and what they do at the workplace.

      Started out well with good direction and goals.

      Cons

      It seems that suggestions are ignored or given lip service. The upper management is focused on the bottom line and keeping costs down. I did not see any new pushes for innovative products or groundbreaking ideas in a long time.
