      Very toxic work culture. Change is not received well here. Very top down management and micromanagement.

      Thank you for sharing. I am glad to hear that you were able to work with some amazing people here at Malwarebytes. Our people are such an important part of shaping the employee experience here. I am sorry that your experience with our work culture was not as positive. We’re currently experiencing a lot of growth and one of the byproducts of that has been changes. We’re looking to adapt and coach our leaders on, not only embracing change, but adapting and thriving within it. We want to continue to grow and evolve within our industry which means we must grow and evolve as a workplace. Learning and adapting is how we will get there and we’re working diligently as a People Team to guide our teams to that goal.

      Culture of distrust

      Pros

      Really cool office space. Pretty good kitchen with some decent food (all make it yourself, nothing catered or brought in). Cool bar with great views (sometimes the beer is out or not great choices)

      Cons

      Leadership just gets worse and worse. Management team except one has turned over in the past 18-24 months. Hard to tell which left or which were fired left because there is little transparency. Leadership (especially external) do a great job of stirring up problems and distracting everyone from doing real work to help the company be successful. Everyone wonders why anyone would want to bring the inefficiency of exceutive coaches, how can external folks be helping when the entire exec team is turning over? You can't trust ANYONE. Beware, everything you say goes directly to the CEO, there is no true confidentiality in any feedback you provide anyone (internal or external). CEO prides himself on knowing "everything" going on in the company and will go at great lengths to achieve this. It's funny - I was just looking at the company response to some of the poor reviews on Glassdoor and they just copy and paste the same response to multiple people - LOL HR can't even respond to reviews properly, they must not care.
