Pros

Superb work environment, great career opportunities, facilitates each person's success through genuine want to help and support. Great reward and recognition for doing a great job!

Cons

None that I can think of. Most 'human' of organisations I have ever worked for.

Pros

Team & ASM support,

Cons

Too much pressure & expectation is put onto Field Sales. There are no rewards or recognition throughout the month or encouragement., too many knee jerk reactions / changes not thought through..staff turnover is massive..maybe try harder at addressing why..do not expect that people will automatically work over their contracted hours which are 37.5 yet expectation is 8.30 to 5.30 and beyond on top with barely a lunch break..no admin time is built into the day..commission structure sucks..management style is bullying & aggressive.. expectation to visit ALL customers if on holiday so in effect you are cramming your work into far less time.no leeway or contingency at all for sickness / absence..lack of head office support

Summary of my Lyreco experience

Pros

Salary, some great staff, nice canteen, excellent fleet and payroll team.

Cons

Dysfunctional outdated hierarchy, many intellectually incapable. Poor communication. Poor business strategy based on flawed understanding of both budget and results. Wolf pack mentality to maintain the status quo by SMT. There is a general unwillingness to accept new ideas and change which extended to communication issues between dependent departments which has a devastating effect with this type of matrix organisation. All of these points are fed and not help by Lyreco Group in France. The listed company values are not those I experienced whilst working in a senior management role.
