Pros

Varied Schedule so you didn't have to worry about making doctor's appointments, HR did notice the extra effort I was putting in, There was a real friendly relationship between all the workers. I was friends with more people at that job than any other job I've ever had.

Cons

The management wouldn't allow moving up without opening up hours. You could work your butt off and do a job higher than you, but they wouldn't move you or give you a raise for it. Some of the managers think that they are good's gift to management. The pay was okay, but couldn't live on it.

Pros

Lowes is a great place to work if you need a job so you can pay the bills, managent has no real concerns about the employes just the almighty dollar but has good employes to get the job done. Lowes will be there for a long time so they need to respect there employes more than they are doing at this time, lowes can be a great place to work with a little more effort.

Cons

Hard for you to get a raise or promotion that you deserve, they seem to promote the butt kissers and keep the hard workers on the floor. Lowes coaches have no respect for the hard working people that alloe them to keep there easy jobs.

Pros

The other co-workers and the customers.

Cons

The training could be a lot better. The training modules only cover basic information. The training would be more effective if you trained one-on-one with a head cashier for a couple of days before being turned loose by yourself. Better yet, the Cart tests should be used as a training tool. You learn a lot of useful information from the quarterly test. Unfortunately, you only learn something new from making a mistake and Management is quick to critize you in front of customers.
