Pros

Competitive pay, Benefits to include dental, health, 401k, etc. Very recognizable company for your resume. Company paid training and licensing that will make you hirable elsewhere.

Cons

In just over two years with the company, they have changed their standards and procedures 4 times, then gone back and audited past work performance against new standards that were put in place after the work was performed. Constant turnover including in the management ranks. Very difficult to move from job to job within the company if you are looking to change departments. The "Team" environment is virtually non-existence and actually breeds an environment where being able to blame errors on anyone but yourself is rewarded.

Pros

Great company, great benefits, pay is good, and development is awesome!

Cons

The company downsizes every two years so either be prepared to relocate or keep an open network for other opportunities. Liberty Mutual is a big organization so often times the satellites offices get dismissed when it comes to growth and opportunities. Boston, MA is the home office so most of the opportunities reside there.

Pros

Large Worldwide Footprint Premium Growth is steady Opportunities for entry level people looks bright

Cons

Most Corporate Jobs are in Boston Technology is a slow painful upgrade process Performance overall by your group weighs heavy on bonus - so one year the bouns could be big, and the next year could be significantly smaller - you did great work both years, but that is not a driver.
