You start your day behind the 8-ball. The queue is already 3 digits deep and you have metrics to maintain. You can't get up to use the rest room or grab a drink if you need a minute to recompose yourself after a difficult call. You do that on your scheduled break times. It's call after call after call,
The building is massive so you have to sprint in order to get a snack or a drink AND use the restroom in the 15 minute time allotment. Your half hour lunch hardly feels like a break. And when you've busted your hump all month or all year, the appreciate they show is occasional pizza. It's very similar to unalive by a thousand cuts. It was such a high paced high stress position that permanent damage was done to my heart. I had to leave for my health. The pressure of the calls, the pressure of maintaining your metrics and your boss never going to bat for you if there's a dispute with a call really makes for a horrible job.
