Pros

+ Opportunity to work from home + Friendly coworkers + Opportunity to fly to other offices for training

Cons

- Liberty feels very slow to take on new technology or ideologies. - It might vary from team to team, but my work has never felt like much more than copying and pasting code from other parts of a spaghetti-bowl of a codebase. - If Liberty were a color, it would be beige.

Pros

Stable and successful company. Size of company means you have opportunity to move around to different areas to find something you like. Good work/life balance. Management is generally pretty receptive to feedback and process improvement ideas.

Cons

Work processes are painfully inefficient and a constant source of frustration. Work environment sometimes not very collaborative when working across teams. Development tools are out of date and often a hassle to use. Depending on what team you work with, working out of Seattle office can mean you don't work with anyone face to face.

Pros

Good pay, great work-life balance, most Managers will give you flexibility to work remotely, big focus on progress and latest/greatest in the IT space, Senior Management is great.

Cons

Culture can be lacking for many teams, no real "bonding" events, a lot of legacy applications / mindsets in the IT space, a lot of dependence on others to get things done, training is lacking.
