Pros
- Well established company: clients know Covance is one of the leaders in the CRO market. - Great colleagues: most non-management employees are friendly and supportive - don't get me wrong: most managers are friendly, but they mainly do the mandatory administrative tasks (yearly review...).
Cons
Difficult to know where to start. - Processes are a nightmare. - Outdated IT system. - Improvements are made, but most of the time result in over-complication and disregarding the lack of tools. - Pay is not in alignment with the market (lower than average); - Poor work–life balance and flexibility. - No progression (very political and cronyism is to be expected). - Idiotic initiatives to raise employees' engagement: it's a waste of the time we don't have.
