      Fast-paced, high autonomy, and a culture that's actually real.

      Pros

      Autonomy: This isn't a place where you're micromanaged. If you see a problem (or want to fix a process), you are trusted to just go and do it. This is freedom and responsibility. The People: The "No Ego" policy is genuine. Everyone from devs to leadership is approachable. The Perks: The benefits (lunch, wellness) are excellent and actually used, not just for show. Growth: We are scaling fast. Moving from being "part of Octopus" to a standalone "Kraken" entity has been a massive challenge but incredibly rewarding to build.

      Cons

      Pace: It is relentless. If you want a slow, predictable 9-5, this probably isn't for you. Things change daily. Growing Pains: Because we are scaling so fast, processes sometimes break or lag behind. You have to be comfortable with a bit of chaos and willing to build the plane while flying it.

      Pros

      people are great & give you their time and attention wether senior or not. makes you want to work with/for them. hiring process has been smooth too. feels like not a one size fits all around here but making sure you do what you're good at.

      Cons

      bit of chaos- but people are aware of it and making it better. also hiring process was a couple of confusions with timings of meetings as I was hired for a US role based out of the UK.

      Pros

      - Incredibly meaningful work. - A truly impressive technology stack. Nothing's perfect, but we make tradeoffs deliberately and are always mindful of scalability and accumulating tech debt. - Reasonable workload given the opportunity space and the urgency of the mission. Better work-life balance than most tech. - Great people. By and large everyone is confident and dedicated, and the org structure can flex to accommodate folks taking on projects in areas that interest them.

      Cons

      - Very entrepreneurial, which can feel unstructured sometimes. Great fit for someone that's intrinsically motivated and can structure their own work, but may be a challenge for people that want a task list to execute. - Salaries are lower than tech, though higher than a lot of other mission-driven work. Management has acknowledged this and communicated plans to address it.
