Pros

Don’t have to worry about lay-offs, health insurance, an okay retirement, laid back,

Cons

Good old boy system, turn over rate is horrible, not enough lead positions in all departments, management is young and constantly changing, people in certain positions will hold you back if you create value for them, they hire people with no work experience (ex) really young, currently no pension plan, pay is suppose to be based off performance based and value creation, but in my craft at Enid they follow their own version of market base.

Pros

Decent food on-site. Not a lot of traffic in Wichita.

Cons

Lots and lots of promises...none true. KS&T is hemorrhaging talent left & right. Pay/Benefits/Vacation, etc. is substandard.

Pros

Plenty of work hours, all the overtime you will ever want. Paid time off honored well. Some travel which can be seen as a real Benefit. There was a pension when I was employed there. Safety is held to a higher standard than most work cultures.

Cons

Too much of a work load from micromanaging leaves little time for personal life. No room for moving up, even when you’ve met the micromanaged tasks. Employees are very disrespectful and will step on you to get ahead. No pay scale, high turn over. Poorly managed environment creates a lot of these issues. No clear direction from leadership except to micromanage everything until everyone is busy doing tasks. Busyness is confused with real progress.
