      Good job if you're looking at it short term, but not sure if this is a great place for a long term career.

      Pros

      You learn a lot about a variety of different industries. Your co-workers are very sharp for the most part. They are also very generous with vacation days (5 weeks!). If you request time off far enough in advance you are actually able to take those days unlike some other places.

      Cons

      If you are not an accountant, the brand doesn't do much for you. There is also the bureaucracy and politics that you get from any large company. As you move up the career ladder at KPMG, politics becomes more and more important as there is a lot of jockeying going on behind the scenes as to who gets credit for a client win, etc. Although I imagine that this is probably no different from any of the other large consulting firms.

      Pros

      They have a great benefits program and Personal Care Time

      Cons

      They don't want to follow their own policies in regards to Flexability of working hours and ability to reduce workweek. I feel that management does not care. I feel I don't get recognized for the job I do which is above and beyond my job description and job pay.
