      Pros

      The company pays well and benefits are better than most.

      Cons

      Most managers are more interested in networking up and preparing for their next job than they are in coaching/developing their employees. Of course, there are the rare exceptions. Constantly shifting priorities make it hard to focus and understand where how to measure impact.

      Pros

      Opportunities frequently present themselves in this multinational at the local level. The businesses are straight forward enough that one quickly gains insight to the industry that JCI division is in. Stretigic leadership from Milwaukee is good. Training is available for a number of job specific and leadership roles Compensation and benefits are mid-range competitive.

      Cons

      The core business the company is in car seats, building HVAC equipment, and batteries are aggressively competitive and drive constant change management at JCI leading to long working hours, poor to no work life balance, clustered of overworked employees at all levels next to clusters of poorly performing employees. The company has an unhealthy turnover rate amoung it's high talent members. Training as been shrinking over the years, and waves of layoffs mean no one can plan anymore to stay at this company for more than 4 to 6 years.
