Don’t do it

Pros

Can be flexible if you have decent store managers

Cons

No appreciation or respect for the work that is put in. There are shifts that are beyond under staffed and no matter how hard you work there is 0 appreciation or respect for the sales associates - who ultimately keep the store running. Felt there was no right way to get something done; either scolded for over stepping or complained that enough effort wasn’t being put in. The entire company has a very top to bottom approach, the “little guy” doesn’t mean anything, store management barely means anything, it’s all about sales. I had co-workers have full mental break downs or physically ill at work and they were still asked to continue working for the sake of sales or for the sake of higher level management visiting the store. At the end of the day you are seen as a minimum wage employee that’s easily replaceable, no matter how much you give to the company.
