      Pros

      Good benefits and packages, full year's pay whilst on maternity leave, lower down the organisation some great calibre people. Starting to make more appointments at a senior level from externally which is needed to provide more balance

      Cons

      Immature leadership a lot of whom have never worked elsewhere which makes change challenging due to the entrenched mindset. Macho culture with a lot of conflict and adversity. General lack of trust in employees.

      Pros

      + enormous possibility for training and development + promotion opportunities for high performing individuals + easy internal moves between positions (allowed every 2 years) + flexible working hours (depends on department) + travel opportunities + possibility to drive the products + good benefits package + on site canteens and coffee shops + free shuttle bus services from various locations (saves petrol and frustration while trying to park onsite)

      Cons

      - not enough parking spaces - very long queues to get in and out of the site (additional 1-2 hours depending on the time) - lack of processes ownership or to many process owners (basic process enhancements take months) - lack of operating instructions and standardisation in the office environment - IT and helpdesk outsourced to India (simple fixes takes long time and require a lot of bureaucracy) - to many tactical solutions which are never addressed on a strategic level - old IT infrastructure

      Pros

      Excellent benefits if you take advantage of them. Fast moving industry which is constantly changing.

      Cons

      Limited career progression despite the growth. The role doesn't always get the recognition it deserves and at times the role is not clearly defined. Is becoming too bureaucratic. Too many on-lookers without any accountability or responsibility. Each change, such as HR direct, feels like an anchor on the organisation, dragging it backwards.
