      Was a great company now a good company with very poor management

      Good work environment Good pension Some good and loyal staff

      Cons

      Limited progression unless face fits Senior management lack vision and have lost a lot of talented people recently. Lots of 'cruisers' with no commitment - happy to take high salaries but expend no effort. Promotion of un-suitable candidates to management positions who have no clue or training on how to manage or lead people. What they did manage to do was pass a ridiculous interview process and that is it. Too much 'coffee and chat' - breakout meetings overused and abused Salaries are almost too high this is why lifers will not move Extra benefits inc car and private medical only available to management levels

      Pros

      Benefits are good, products are exciting and experienced massive growth and good results while the automotive industry volumes were on the up.

      Cons

      The culture is quite toxic. Short-termism is the norm, with no clear overall strategy or long term vision (make it up as you go along), and constant tactical change of direction. Departments only take care of their little area of responsibility, disregarding the impact of their actions on other areas and on the overall performance of the company, resulting in uncoordinated diverging activities. No learning of past mistakes result on the same issues recurring over and over again. At the moment internal moves are frozen, severely limiting career progression.

      Pros

      The products are very sexy and visiable. There are some very talented people working there. The benefits are very good.

      Cons

      A truly innovative culture is actively stopped. Politics within the business is rampant and has a negative effect on the working environment. Senior management lack vision to capitalise on the talent in the company. The culture is setup to grind out the ambition and helpfulness in people mean that a large part of the workfoce become disillusioned.
