      Pros

      Working as I&C design engineer and have extensive experience in project management of instrumentation projects, I&C design and execution jobs. My last assignment was I&C design engineer for KNPC MAA refinery at Kuwait.

      Pros

      JGC cares about their employees and it shows in so much of what they do for us. Since the Houston office, is a start up office, things have started slowly but I can see a successful path forward. Someone mentioned the 50 people layoff (it was actually a furlough) and JGC did that many months after other engineering companies had started their layoffs. It should not be seen as a negative for JGC as JGC was just responding to the downturn of the market.

      Cons

      The biggest con I see is this was a start up office. Everything had to be started from the beginning (procedures, work instructions, etc).
