      Pros

      It's a large organization so there is opportunity for growth.

      Cons

      I cannot comment about other positions, but as a Claims Rep in Alberta, there is excessive workload. The only way a claims adjuster can be caught up is by putting in extra personal unpaid time e.g. coming to work early or leaving work late. The managers do not seem to care about the welfare of their subordinates, all that matters to them is the stats.

      We take this seriously; our policy is to provide overtime pay when extra time is requested of anyone on the team. Employees input has led to many of our customer experience improvements – we don’t want to stop ideas from coming. Thank you for sharing your experience.

      Thank you for all of your contributions to date. We really appreciate it! Insurance companies have been significantly impacted by Canada’s changing climate, resulting in a very high volume of weather related Claims. We care about our team and are in the midst of hiring to help alleviate the volume of work.
