The salary range is wide and you can fall on the bottom of the scale for no apparent reason, other than being loyal to the company and not shopping yourself around. If you bring it up as a concern, you get a canned response about the "total package" but that is BS. Whether you are on the low end of the scale of the high end of the scale, you still get benefits, and yet the scale still exists for a reason. It is almost akin to gas-lighting.
