Pros
My colleagues the in Personal Lines business that I did work for were generally great people and my work was well appreciated and often interesting. Generally, people want to be collaborative, but often there are competing priorities where this can't always be achieved.
Cons
The Management of the Analytics team within Personal Lines is extremely poor. They are arrogant creating a toxic environment and practice bullying and discrimination. The IT infrastructure this team has to use is crumbling to pieces. They don't use modern open source tools like Python and R and instead use SAS, so it would definitely feel like a backwards step in terms of starting an analyst job here. There will be minimal training and they will expect the earth in terms of outputs. Mistakes are not tolerated and are seen as a weakness.
