I could write a thesis with 4 volumes to it. This is a horrible place to work unless you come from a low to middle-income family from in India and need to survive. I was here because when I graduated from my university I didn't know what I wanted to do and when I did pandemic hit and then was stuck with h-1b issue. DON'T waste your time here unless you are in retirement age or newly graduated. No women in teams, you will be working with middle aged, sexually frustrated 40-50 yr old men surviving in the USA. They don't even respect their wives and treat them poorly at home and it shows since their behavior in the workplace is the same where they talk down on women. People will bring their emotions and personal stuff to work. Don't even interview.

I worked at Infosys for about 6 months, and it was by far the worst job I have ever had. The work day started at 6:30am with a phone call to India with a verbally abusive and wildly incompetent manager. This phone call would sometimes last two hours. Other people had their phone calls at 11pm at night, rather than the morning, but a daily phone call to India was the norm. Most of the team I worked with was in India, which made contacting them difficult, and even when contacted they were often uncooperative. Anytime anything went wrong with the code, the question was never "How can we fix this?" but "Who can we blame?" kicking off a multi day long process of bickering about whether or not the issue even existed, and if it did, whose fault it was. This happened almost every week. There were no real career advancement options for Americans, and this became clear very quickly. Management was also dishonest, and misled me on multiple occasions. Compensation was also abysmal, justified by false promises of massive raises further down the line that were locked behind herculean tasks that we were clearly never expected to be able to complete. The benefits were also very poor. Infosys also did not give me the tools I needed to succeed at my job, but expected me to succeed anyways. I held an entry level position, but was expected to have senior level knowledge almost daily. The quality of the training materials was also incredibly poor, with the materials often being outdated and written in English so broken that it was incomprehensible, but completing the training was still mandatory. In person training was no better either.
