Pros

Good salaries. cool work environment

Cons

Lot of unlearning happens as no much strong technical background is required in projects. consistently changes technologies every year. employee will not have strong area in any technology as he need to work on outdated technologies and most of the time only on ui. Employee need to depend on decisions made by company for his work and career.

Pros

Has some of best industry leading ERPs and add-on products in manufacturing.

Cons

Infor is deemed a group of companies rather than a single unit because of its acquisition culture. It takes 3-4 years for acquired companies to absorb Infor culture and adapt to its product guidelines (cloud enablement, common UI etc). Dont count on their immigration assistance (there are hardly any approvals on their GC LABOR/PERM petitions)

Pros

Liberal policy for working at home or taking time for doctor appointments or family problems.

Cons

I felt like a cog in a very large machine. I was bought in to work on a sotware product and after 3 years I still did not understand what the software was for or how it was used. I was just constantly fixing bugs. They never thought it was worthwhile to train me on the system so I could better understand it and be a more effective employee. The company was not interested in training employees to keep them current. If I stayed there, I would probably be working on the same system, year after year, with not potential to do anything else. They were also not very good about keeping compensation competitive. I also felt that there was no real meaningful feeling of being on a team, other than eating lunch together with other people in the software group.
