Pros

As long as you are performing, you are safe and good. There are some good and determined executives. You can work from home. Relatively low office politics.

Cons

Extremely tight deadlines. Taking day off with short notices, is difficult. Changing strategies do not sound to make proper sense. Information is communicated poorly.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. The talent level in the organization is good.

Cons

With all of the acquisitions, there has been a lot of shuffling going on at the management level. Lack of stability from the leadership team.

Pros

-Good vacation -Telecommuting policy -lower ranking people understand and care for their customers and co-workers

Cons

-no 401K match -no merit increases -unrealistic personal and business goals -commission structured so its unachievable -not honest, sneaky --makes decisions to strong arm affiliates, customers and employees (ie rather than layoff, change commission structure so its unachievable forcing people to lose 40 - 50% of overall pay... as a means to force them out instead of a layoff - no laws, no unemployment, no severance... ) -doesn't appreciate product knowledge in existing employees -doesn't train, have policy effectiveness, etc -too much red tape -way too many layers - work in silos (right arm does not know what left arm is doing) -business planning is not well thought out and too focused on short term -Sales teams reorganize every 6 months to a year - major layoffs, people can't reach goals bc very unattainable, accounts are reorganized all the time, sales staff doesn't get proper training, etc etc -makes counter-intuitive decisions to internal teams compete -communication is poor within the organization -roll outs are not well planned, executed or communicated -executive leadership is weak, not strategic (thinking that copying competition is strategy), too idealistic, changes strategy too quickly never giving a strategy time to work, changes middle/upper management too frequently and makes drastic changes with poor planning
