Pros

Good health and dental insurance Limited flex time unless you work in support

Cons

No pay raises (not even cost of living increases) although there is a budget for them. Probably only managers get them. I’ve had one 2% increase in six years. Now performance reviews were dropped since they’re pointless when there’s no pay increases. Only senior management can telecommute. Every year we don’t meet budget, positions are eliminated. Last year, five people quit and no one was replaced. There were layoffs on top of that. The work load gets heavier creating a very stressful environment. There is no employee motivation due to the conditions stated above.

Pros

Enterprise software and hundreds of solutions in portfolio. Made up of several niche type companies with great technology so industry focus is a plus. Privately held company allowing a little more flexibility and time to really identify who they want to be

Cons

Trouble in combining many different companies into one culture. Cohesive communication and messaging has been a challenge.

Pros

Fairly stable environment with above average job security. Management has relatively reasonable expectations of work load and the work environment is very professional. Policies are generally good related to basic employee maintenance such as travel expense reimbursement which happens quickly and reliably and typical, although not exempliary benefits.

Cons

Employee compensation appears to be shifting to upper level management with increasing reluctance to reward individual contributors. This is negatively impacting the ability of the company to attract and maintain quality sales professionals. Employee moral is trending down as employees respond negatively to reduced compensation plans and little or no base salary improvements.
