Terrible HR and Senior Management, manage the world by Spanish rules and culture, huge labour turnover, discriminatory recruitment against nationalities or god forbid anyone that is size 12 or above, poor technology at store level compared to competitors, do not listen to the feet on the ground, little praise and reward, do not care about staff or retaining them due to a constant influx of applicants, commission system base on a calculation involving a % they refuse to tell you, etc....

Very high rotation with low income overall across diferent HO positions. High volume of responsabilities, low flexibility and lack of northern Europe mentality. High volume of HQ visitors with narrow minds. Its not a modern company even when you might consider that Zara is cool. The only company´s values are based on long working hours. Sometimes they do healthy stuff like breakfasts . Yearly salary increase around 1-2 %. Mostly of the HO employees have an strong academic background even if they started their career in their stores.
